Have you ever found yourself putting hours into worldbuilding and planning the story of the campaigns you run only to have your players mess it all up? You would still have to manage DC checks, combat, your players, and have the final say in what is canon. You would not have to generate npcs, towns, quests, or backstories and you would not know where the campaign is going.
